+ What should I wear for my family session?
I LOVE this question because clothing plays a big part on how your pictures will look. If you like more of a bright and airy look, I would suggest wearing lighter neutral colors. If you like dark and moody, I would suggest wearing darker colors. Be cautious if you have pets as this will show off hair. Once you book with me, we will discuss color palettes to figure out the best theme so you don't feel like you have to match every single person.
+ How are we supposed to pose?
With nearly 10 years of experience behind a camera, I can assure you you're a natural. It's totally normal to feel a little uncomfortable or dorky in the beginning of your session, but with the power of talking and moving around, soon the poses will feel natural. I call it. working within a pose.
+ How much are extended family sessions?
My extended family sessions are $500 for groups of 10-20 people. It is $15 for each additional person past 20. The session lasts up to 1 hour and is at 1 location. You can expect 50-100 edited digital images on your personal online downloadable gallery.
+ My kids are free spirited, how do we pose with them?
When our kiddos are young, I love to focus on capturing those sweet candid moments, but if we're trying to achieve those more traditional photos, I will lean on you for help. While we will focus on keeping things fun, I might ask you to help lead them to a certain spot or I might need your to make a silly face. You are their comfort and they will tend to lean on you over listening to me with the silly looking camera.
+ Is there anything else we should know?
Yes! Before your session begins, we will want to make sure phones, wallets, or anything in a pocket stays in the car to avoid lumpy pockets. I can always hold phone and car keys in my handy-dandy fanny pack. Also, make sure to check your wrists. Do you want wrist ties and watches in your pictures?
+ When can I expect my album?
With any session, you can expect to receive a sneak peek album within 24 hours of your session. My goal is to deliver your entire gallery within 2-3 weeks from your session. Albums will be delivered via email and you will have access to them for 1 month.
+ What if it rains?
My goal is to make sure you get the session of your dreams! If it's a total downpour and it's not safe to be in, we will work on rescheduling your session. While it might seem like a pain, I promise the slight delay in your session will totally be worth it.
+ Do you travel?
Yes, travel within 30 miles of 46074 is included. Additional miles are .65¢ and additional charges may apply depending on location.
